alright, cause I heard it was An tee ga. oh well..

That is the correct pronunciation....the "u" is silent...An-tee-ga
It is good to know how to pronounce the most famous city on Earth. Once it was Las Vegas. Now today it is Antigua. And I had no idea that the "u" was silent.
How is their claim working out in the WTO. I know the decision went in their favor, but have heard nothing more.
Go ANTIGA!!!!!!!!!!!!
if its Antigua as in Antigua, West Indies then "u" is silent
if its Antigua as in Antigua Guatemala or as in the spanish meaning of antigua which is "old or ancient" then you pronunce the "u"
I remember an airline clerk who got really really close to sending me to the wrong Antigua !!!!! that would have been funny (she was sending me to Guatemala instead of the island one!!)
thank you sub, thats exactly why i said that in my first post, and i learned it like 12 years ago on phone with sportsbook operator on where to send a money gram too. lol @ money gram, wonder if these actually get used in book transfers anymore
